ALL ACQUISITION INQUIRIES- Belinda is a 1998 graduate of the University of Arkansas with a degree in Poultry Science. Belinda brings a wealth of industry knowledge to OMP, working in the poultry industry since 1996 and most recently spent 21 years with Tyson Foods. During that time, Belinda worked in various marketing, contract manufacturing and production planning roles. All OMP inquiries should be directed to Belinda.
Ed is a native of Arkansas who holds degrees in Economics (BA) and Agricultural Economics (MS) from the University of Arkansas. He completed his education at the University of Minnesota with a PhD in Agricultural and Applied Economics. For 13 years, Dr. Fryar was a tenured professor at the University of Arkansas. Focusing his research on grain and poultry marketing and price risk management, Ed uses this expertise to drive unparalleled success for his companies. He has over 50 professional publications in addition to his 30 plus years of professional experience in agriculture. Dr. Fryar believes in corporate responsibility, as emphasized through his position on the Council of Economic Advisors for the Governor(s) of Arkansas since 1983. He also held a position with the Fayetteville School Board during the 1980's to the 1990's.
Terry is an Arkansas native who holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from John Brown University. Terry has decades of experience in manufacturing, including 18 years with Baldor Electric, a leading industrial motor manufacturer. At Baldor, Terry became one of the youngest elected officers in the company's history. For over 20 years, he has been a Certified Public Accountant with expertise in financial analysis, acquisitions, business planning, new product development and business start-up.
Stephan Barnes is an Arkansas native with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Arkansas. He has a wealth of industry operations experience after spending 15 years at Tyson Foods in a variety of senior positions. Prior to his business career, Stephan spent 5 years in the army with the 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii.
Cole is a 1992 graduate of Arkansas Tech University with a degree in Agriculture Business. Cole's professional experience has made him one of the most sought after and respected individuals in poultry sales today. He has been in the business since 1987 and most recently spent 16 years with Simmons Foods. During that time, Cole's breadth of industry knowledge extended to a variety of aspects in business including sales, marketing and plant management - giving him an unsurpassed worldview to utilize in customer service. Cole led the retail growth at Simmons from $40 million in 2002 to $200 million in 2008. His experience in new product development, coupled with operations capabilities make him a valuable asset as we grow our list of core customers.
Leah is a seasoned HR professional with a diverse background of experience in both the public and private sectors. Holding a master’s degree in intercultural and organizational communication, she has seen professional success in personnel development, human resource management, risk analysis, governmental/political affairs, policy and procedure development, governmental compliance, marketing, public relations and community development. In her role, Leah is actively engaged in the community by serving on multiple boards and committees. Currently she is a member of the Associated Industries of Arkansas board of directors.
Tim joined OMP in 2011, bringing experience from a career spanning agribusiness, retail, and several entrepreneurial ventures. Tim focuses on price risk management and leading our commodity purchasing efforts. Tim holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Agricultural Economics from the University of Arkansas.
In addition to completing Culinary School, Bob brings a wealth of food experience to OMP, having managed kitchens at several major restaurant concepts. Bob's expertise in recipe development is enjoyed by all.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Dakota and his Juris Doctor (JD) from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University (Cum Laude). Michael has practiced law since 2001 in a variety areas including Commercial Litigation, Environmental, Employment, and Corporate focusing on representing companies in the food production industry. Michael was previously a partner in the Bond Law Firm, P.A. and Kutak Rock, LLP. Michael is licensed to practice law in Arkansas and Florida.
